WALKING IN NATURE

Walking in nature helped me to process my emotions and make sense of what I was feeling.
It was what helped me ‘find my way back to me’
Walking in nature and having at least one good friend were the support mechanisms that enabled me to move and embrace change, when I was pushed to my limits.

Each of these elements delivers great benefits.

-
Walking in nature is good for the spirit. Science has shown that walking lifts the mood, boosts energy and enhances focus.
-
Friendship brings connection and belonging and helps to lower stress. For those who are abused, having a good friend provides you with a different perspective and helps you to build confidence and self-belief.

Walking in nature with friends showed me that I was worthy of being treated with respect and supported me to keep going.

This is something I believe to be of benefit to anyone who trying to process their emotions and change their situation.
